A. Many people are concerned that chocolate cakes will melt in warm weather. If they are kept out of direct sunlight and at room temperature, they will be fine. They also do not require refrigeration.Q. Can I serve my wedding cake as dessert?
A. Yes, it can be served as dessert for the wedding breakfast or alternatively as dessert on the evening buffet.Q. When should I serve my cake?
A. Traditionally the wedding cake is cut and served with the coffee and speeches. However many couples serve their cake as dessert for the wedding breakfast. Another option is to serve the cake as dessert on the evening buffet. This means all of your evening guests are able to see you cut your stunning cake as well.Q. I want to use fresh flowers on my wedding cake - do I buy them from you?
A. Using fresh flowers on a wedding cake looks beautiful. Your florist will supply and display the flowers on the wedding cake.Q. How far in advance do I need to order a wedding cake?
A. We recommend you reserve your wedding date as early as possible to avoid any disappointment as we work on a first come first served basis and only decorate three cakes per week to maintain our high standards.Q. Can I mix the flavours of my wedding cake?
A. Of course. Each tier of your wedding cake can be a different flavour. However we do recommend a larger cake as guests often like to sample each delectable flavour.Q. Can I have a private tasting?
A. Certainly, for private tastings there is a charge per flavour to cover time and the cost of ingredients.Q. Can I have any tiers of my wedding cake made in sponge?
A. If you would like one of your tiers to be fruit cake and the rest sponge, the fruit cake must go at the bottom due to the weight.Q. I am allergic to nuts. Can you make me a nut free wedding cake?
A. We treat all allergies very seriously and are able to supply a nut free wedding cake. However, we cannot guarantee that the ingredients we use are nut free at source. Please let us know if you have any specific dietary requirements.Q. Can you make gluten free wedding cakes?
A. Certainly. Our gluten free wedding cakes come in a variety of flavours.Q. Do you bake your own wedding cakes?
A. Yes. All our cakes are homemade on our premises from fresh ingredients – no packet mixes. It’s so important that your wedding cake tastes as good as it looks.Q. Do you supply cake bases or stands?
A. We can only supply cake bases and stands with orders for our wedding cakes, subject to a £100 refundable deposit. This will be returned to you when the base or stand is returned to us undamaged.
